Street Art versus Museion

I thought it was time to post a blog about the importance of steet art in everyday´s life, and the importance to
use the open space as a lab for the Art of the next millenium.
That does not neccesary means that the time of closed space (classical Institutions) is over, but to be visible to everyone the impact of open space is much bigger compared to the art gallery.
Some kind of people ( and i know a lot) are not keen to go to Gallery´s, but viceversa really enjoy to see a funny stikker, a stencil, an object that integrates seamlessly in the urban surrroungings next to them...it makes them smile, surprised to find it next to them.
It´s like a feeling that i would describe like :"Well, i was in the art gallery and everything they showed was ok, but nothing surprised me really much...., at the other hand, i drove downtown, and in front of me there showed up this big Advertising space, reclaimed by some street artist, and he did some really mad shit whitin that space.
I know that canvases from Big Maestro´s of the Renessaince can´t be shown on the street, but what society in general shoud accept is the importance of street art, the tolerance to offer spaces and lesser punishment against the activists.
It is ART, and it is for free....it´s in the eye of the observer to judge if they like it or not, but they shoud accept it as a big bonus of modern society and not threat them like outlaws...because often this artists tell us more truth (visual and verbal) than any other one part of a permanent collection.
STREET ART IS NOT VANDALISM. KEEP IT ALIVE!!!

Hi there...
It was a really stressful Saturday morning this weekend, with me and my mate Dario on the way to the Viscom, one of the biggest european Events for the Business to Bussiness
(B2B) Innovation in terms of Print, Post production and Stand-design.
Biggest news this year are the endless ways to print, on T-shirts with a normal ink-jet printer, on glass and other unusual materials....
HP+ and Roland had the biggest stands, the innovation there is way to big to exlain it in this blog, but nothing is impossible anymore, big-prints are getting bigger, and Durst (a leading South Tyrolean Brand that produce Printers, Scanners and Photolitho-Machines) presented their new Bannerprinter that allows to print a whole Truck-Pannel (10*3 mt) in one step.
To mention is also the new exibition Area, designed by the famous architect RENZO PIANO, a hommage to lightness and structural design, situated in RHO and soon acccesible even with the metro.
Only the entrance price fo the Event and the parking ticket were way to expensive.:(

Back on Track

I´m proud to work again...
Within a month of my comeback to good old Southtyrol i found a good job offer and i`m already working (since exactly 3 days).

Back on Track

Since a month I am back in good old Italy after my Year of travelling trough different countrys such as OZ, NZ and Southeastasia.
The memories and people i've met are lots, here some shots of the experience.

I was born in 82, and as long as i can remember Rieper (a Southtyrolean Flour Brand)
had always the same Packagingdesign...It was a great pleasure to bring them to a newer level of Design while i was working at heartmindcreativity(HM&C)

Fischereiverein Meran

The FVM asked for a Booklet and a Banner, in Order to have some documentation for the rebuilding of their House...
It contains the History of ther club and the build up of their new Meeting House
